Bu yıl 39. kez dağıtılacak Uluslararası Belgesel Birliği Ödülleri’nin (IDA) adayları duyuruldu. Apolonia, Apolonia sürpriz bir şekilde 4 adaylık alarak zirveye yerleşirken onu takip eden yapımlar ise 3’er adaylıkla Milisuthando ve The Mother of All Lies oldu. Şimdilik yarışın favorileri arasında sayılan American Symphony, 20 Days in Mariupol ve son haftalarda yükselişe geçmiş STILL: A Michael J. Fox Movie’nin hiç adaylık almamış olması ilginç. Demek ki hâlâ sonuca yaklaşabilmiş değiliz belgesel kategorisinde. Neyse efendim, lafı uzatmadan 12 Aralık’ta sonuçları belli olacak IDA Ödülleri’nin adaylarına göz atalım:
