Altın Küre Adayları ’23

Barbie

Sezonun önemli duraklarından Altın Küre, 81. kez dağıtacakları ödüllerinin adaylarını duyurdu. Son birkaç yıldır aldıkları yeni üyelerle profillerini değiştirmeye çalıştıkları için skandal niteliğinde bir adaya rastlamak mümkün değil bu defa. Yalnızca televizyon kanadındaki tembellik fazlasıyla dikkat çekiyor. Değinilmesi gereken diğer detaylara gelirsek:

• En çok adaylık alan yapımlar sırasıyla Barbie (9), Oppenheimer (8), Killers of the Flower Moon (7) ve Poor Things (7) oldu. Sezon boyunca da bu dört yapımın liderliği ve mücadelesi devam edeceğe benziyor.
• Günün esas kazananı Past Lives. En İyi Film, En İyi Yönetmen, En İyi Kadın Oyuncu (Drama), En İyi Senaryo ve En İyi Uluslararası Film adaylıklarıyla yüksek performans göstererek grev sırasındaki muafiyetlerinin işe yaradığını kanıtladılar sanki.
• Bradley Cooper’ın Maestro ile aldığı yönetmenlik adaylığı, erkek oyuncu kategorisinde alacağı galibiyetinin işaretçisi bana sorarsanız.
• Anatomy of a Fall ve The Zone of Interest’a esas kategorileri haricinde yer ayrılmış olması da dikkat çekici. Bu iki yapım Oscar’ın En İyi Film yarışına sızmaya çalışan yabancılar olarak karşımıza çıkacak.
• Bir de The Color Purple’ın adını anmak gerek. En İyi Komedi/Müzikal kategorisinden Air’ı kazıyıp adaylık alamaması, Taraji P. Henson’ın görmezden gelinmezi ve şarkı kategorisindeki yoklukları ellerinin ne kadar zayıf olduğunu kanıtlar nitelikte.
• Bu sene açtıkları “Sinema ve Gişe Başarısı” kategorisine bakmaya tahammül edemiyorum.
