Animasyonlar için belki de en önemli ödül olarak nitelendirilebilecek Annie’nin bu seneki adayları açıklandı. Disney’e mesafesiyle tanınan grup bir ilki gerçekleştirip ana kategorilerin hiçbirinde yer vermemiş büyük stüdyoya. Elemental da Lightyear’dan beri dışarıda kalmış ilk Pixar animasyonu olma özelliğini taşıyor hatta. Listenin zirvesinde dokuz adaylıkla Nimona var. Oscar beşlisinde yer almasına kesin gözüyle bakabiliriz artık. Esas favoriler The Boy and the Heron ile Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse ise sekizer adaylık almış. Bütün meslek birliklerinin istisnasız aday ettiği The Super Mario Bros Movie’ye sadece bir adaylık vermiş olmaları da dikkat çekiyor. Büyük kategoriyi kaçıran Elemental bile 6 adaylık almışken hele… 17 Şubat’ta dağıtılacak Annie Ödülleri’ne, Türkiye’de Canlandıranlar Film Festivali’nde yarışmış Kolaj isimli yapımın En İyi Öğrenci Filmi kategorisinde aday edildiğini de not düşeyim.
