GLAAD (Gay ve Lezbiyenlere Karşı Nefret Söylemiyle Mücadele İttifakı) medya ve eğlence sektöründe LGBTİ+’ların adil, doğru ve kapsayıcı temsillerini ödüllendiriyor 1985 yılında ABD’de kurulduğundan beri. Yanlış temsillere karşı farkındalık yaratmaya çalışan kurum film, televizyon, gazetecilik ve yeni medya türlerinin hepsinde de görünürlüğü artırmak amacıyla çalışıyor ayrıca. GLAAD Medya Ödülleri’nin daha önce Oscar Boy’da yaptığım tek tük haberlerine bir son verip haber kapsamıma almam şarttı artık. Mean Girls ve Cuckoo gibi enteresan adaylarına rağmen, Emilia Pérez‘i anmadıkları için bile konuşulmayı hak ediyorlar bence. 27 Mart’ta dağıtılacak ödüllerin, film ve TV tarafındaki adayları şöyle:
