Akademi’nin geçen sene başlattığı gelenek üzerine artık sadece kısalar, görsel efekt, makyaj, belgesel ve uluslararası filmde değil özgün müzik ile özgün şarkı dallarında da finalistleri öğrenir olduk. Üstelik bu yıl uluslararası filmde sayı 9’dan, makyajda da 7’den 10’a çıktı kısa listeye kalan yapım sayısı. Bence sürprizli sayılabilecek bir manzara çıkmış ortaya. Monos, And Then We Danced, Invisible Life’ın yokluğu dikkat çekiyor. Honeyland yarıştığı iki kategoride de finalist olmayı başarmış. Cats’in Taylor Swift imzalı şarkısı “Beautiful Ghosts” da ortalıklarda yok. Parasite’ın müzikleri, Ad Astra’nın efektleri… Üstüne konuşulacak bir sürü şey var yani.
